"Empower Her Network will be an incredible support and stepping stone for survivors who are motivated to follow their journey towards independence."
Waffa Freij, THEIA Program Coordinator
Sojourner House is very unique, and Empower Her Network is grateful for their efforts and endeavors in creating a special place for victims of human trafficking. Their newest program is the THEIA (Trafficking Housing Empowerment Immigration Advocacy) Project. THEIA Project provides safe shelter and supportive services to victims of human trafficking. THEIA Project clients have access to safe housing, basic needs, support groups, immigration advocacy, case management services, life-skills training, and trauma-informed supportive services. This is a perfect match for Empower Her Network once a survivor is ready to 'graduate' from THEIA and take that next step toward independence.
Sanctuary for Families is highly regarded in New York City, serving over 17,00 victims of domestic abuse, and 400 victims of human trafficking. Their approach "You can live free from exploitation" is one Empower Her Network also believes and works towards. The synergy between our organizations is palpaple, and EHN is very grateful to call them our colleagues and partners.
